Data Challenges

Rest assured, BallotWise will be up and running by the 2024 election! However, in order for our service to function, we need one of our most fundamental features: the ability to find the candidates on users’ ballots. At this time, that information is not available in the form we need.

BallotWise, and most services like us, use the Google Civic API, which plugs into the site to provide that data. Google Civic has not yet uploaded the 2024 election information. As a result, our launch is temporarily on hold while we polish the site and await this final piece.
